1. What is a Professional Organizer? Professional Organizers work with clients in their home or office to organize, streamline and redesign areas as well as provide storage solutions. Some organizers also address productivity issues such as time management, computer data management and filing systems. The work is done through coaching, training, and hands-on work. Let's Talk Organization (LTO) provides expertise in four areas: residential space, paper, office and time management.

3. What type of services do you offer? LTO Organizing is a professional organizing and consulting firm offering comprehensive organizing services. We will organize your home and/or office, provide customized assessments.

4. How are you different than other professional organizers? We create personalized systems that work long-term. We have an approach that addresses more than just your clutter so that you can see how the problem arose and how to prevent it in the future. We provide the steps needed to help you meet your goals: A Personalized Assessment & Plan of Action, hands-on services, and follow up services. All we do is ORGANIZE. We do not provide an array of services such as cleaning, errand and shopping services so you know we really specialize in how to get you organized. 

5. What is a Assessment and Plan of Action? This is our distinctive method for identifying the main issues causing disorganization and unproductive behavior. By asking a series of questions in our questionnaire and during the initial consultation, we gain an understanding of what needs to change and how to change it. By using the Personalized Assessment, we ensure setting up systems that will work because they fit the individual client. The LTO Plan of Action shows you the steps needed to improve your situation and how we will implement those steps for you.

6. How do you do your work? After a free phone consultation to make sure our services are for you, we provide an Assessment at your home or office to fully understand your needs and priorities, determine the appropriate services and come up with a plan of Action. Prior to this meeting, we will provide you with an Assessment Questionnaire to further clarify your needs. For Residential Services, we come prepared to work with you hands-on to help you make decisions about your items and find the most efficient ways to store and use them. You can be as involved in the process as you want. For Office Services, we work with you hands-on and set up personalized systems to organize your time, data, paper and space. We will also work with your assistants and personnel as appropriate.
 
7. Do I have to purchase organizing products? No; however, we may recommend products that will help you get organized and do your job more effectively. We can help you find the most useful and best priced items and handle the shopping for you if desired.

8. Do you provide one time services or ongoing services? Both. Since many people have several areas requiring assistance or need help with changing long term habits, LTO provides ongoing coaching services and also monthly-yearly maintenance services where appropriate.
 
9. I have trouble getting rid of items-can you help? Because we are impartial, we are able to offer moral support to help you let items go. We can help you understand the "psychology of clutter" so you can make rational decisions about what to keep. We will also provide you with many options for helping others by donating your items and show you how to sell, recycle and dispose of them.

10. How will I be sure to stay organized once our work is done? We will work one-on-one with you to personalize and implement new systems so that they are tailored to fit your lifestyle and work style. Our goal is to set up systems you can maintain long after we're gone. We have designed our services to include follow-up sessions where needed to reinforce your new habits and revisit your systems to modify them if necessary.

11. How do you charge for your services? Payment is due at the time of service or upon receipt of your invoice for our services. We accept personal and business checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
